报告摘要 Oxide thermoelectrics based on the layered cobaltites (sodium, calcium, bismuth-calcium etc.) are promising materials for development of thermoelectric devices of different types (thermoelectric generators, thermocouples etc.) as well as electrode materials for metal-ion batteries and solid oxide fuel cells. In my talk, I will present some our results in the development of new functional materials based on these complex oxides. First, I will shortly describe my organization, Belarusian State Technological University, our Department of Physical, Colloid and Analytical Chemistry, and our Research Group of Functional Materials for Personalized Energy Systems. Secondly, I will shortly present our former results obtained at the study of layered high-temperature cuprates, layered oxygen-deficient double perovskites, and perovskite bismuth ferrite, barium–strontium plumbates and rare-earth elements cobaltites, which are prospective functional materials for different purposes and aims of electronics and personalized energetics. Finally, or thirdly, I will describe our efforts in the improving of thermoelectric performance of layered cobaltites sodium and calcium as prospective materials for thermoelectric conversion and thermometry. In my talk I will partially focus on the prospective practical usage of materials studied and developed in our research group.

报告人简介:Andrei I. Klyndyuk obtained his M. Sc. Degree in Chemistry and his Ph. D. in Physical Chemistry from Belarusian State University. Now he is Associate Professor of Department of Physical, Colloid and Analytical Chemistry, where he delivers the courses of “Physical Chemistry”, “Surface Phenomena and Disperse Systems”, and “Physical and Colloid Chemistry”, at which he prepared more than ten textbooks and manuals. His scientific interests include the development and study of functional materials for energy conversion, storage, and transport systems (oxide thermoelectrics, cathode materils for the solid oxide fuel cells and metal-ion batteries etc.) as well as multifunctional materials of different purposes (ferroelectrics, multiferroics etc.). He is author and co-author of more than 80 articles in scientific journals.
